FAQ
Can the mounting hole be made larger?
Our tooling is set to punch a .188" diameter hole in the back of our clips. This is the standard size we use on all our gripper clips. In some cases, we can enlarge the whole to .265”. There is an MOQ of 1,000 clips and special-order pricing for this process. We have customers that use their own tools or take their clips to local machines shops to change the hole size.
How can I tell if it’s a Gibson Gripper Clip or a copycat?
Our name stamped on the side of every clip. Our name is visible on the zinc plated clips and sometimes visible on the fully coated clips. The name is not visible on the half-coat clips. Buying Gibson Gripper Clips ensures you purchasing 1050 annealed steel, American Made clips.
